My work has a foundation in traditional quilting - the joy of transforming old cloth into something new and beautiful. Recycled sheets become both my canvas and palette when I use dyes, scissors and thread to create my modern folk art pieces. A love of nature and belief in the dignity of animals is represented through simple silhouettes, surrounded by vibrant colors combinations and stitched flourishes.
